The goal of study programme

Primary goal of study programme is education of starter, in high engineer level with a lot of fundamental knowledge which will, besides of practical knowledge in applying of new information technologies, secure groundwork for scientific work in this field. Faculty conducts constant tracking and adapting programs of instruction and contents according to present needs of market, with an aim of securing actuality of the study programme, regardless to fast development of new technological achievements and new changes.

Master study programme in Information Technologies holds 6 subjects that are divided into 2 semesters, which consist of 3 subjects and Master Work (60 ECTS points). For each subject is scheduled 30 lectures that will be held by prominent professors from home country and abroad, and then 30 classes of practice that include help in project-realization and seminar works, discussions on subject’s matter, presentation and defending realized projects. The defending of realized project or seminar is condition for taking an exam.

This program includes two courses which differ only in two cases:

  • Course for Information systems
  • Course for computer networks and telecommunications

Student who fulfils all pre-exam obligations and passes all required exams in accordance with the specific study program of Master academic studies acquires the right to defend the final paper. Upon completion of the Master study program, students acquire the title of Master of  Science in Informatics-in the field:

  • Master of  Science in Informatics – study program ‘’Information systems’’
  • Master of Science in Informatics- study program ‘’Computer systems and telecommunications’’

LECTURERS

Lecturers are professors of the Faculty of Information Technology with vast experience in practice and international university experience. In addition, the Faculty recruits the eminent professors from the University of Belgrade. The recruitment of lecturers and experts from industry as well as visiting professors from abroad is expected during the study.

TUITION FEE

Tuition fee for Master studies is set to 3.912 KM (2.000 €) and apart from the study, it includes the teaching material in electronic form, exam registration, courses and seminars which are organized at the University, the use of the Internet club, University library, the final paper registration, the final paper defense and other administrative expenses. Therefore, there are no hidden costs.

Students have the opportunity to pay tuition fee in eight equal installments (six tuition fee installments, one installment for the Master’s thesis registration and one for the defense of the Master’s thesis).

There is also the opportunity of tuition fee payment through favorable student loans in ‘’Pavlovic International Bank’’ a.d Slobomir-Bijeljina.

Slobomir P University has set up a ‘’Talent and Solidarity Fund’’ from which 100 scholarships will be earmarked, including:

  • decrease in tuition fee by 15%(440 KM) for students who completed first degree academic studies at some of the SPU Faculties–tuition fee is set to 2.500 KM
  • decrease in tuition fee by 50% (1467 KM) for employees in companies of Pavlovic family–tuition fee is set to 1.960 KM

In addition to the above-mentioned scholarships, students of the Master study of Slobomir P University have the possibility to apply for numerous local, municipal, republic and state scholarships as well as to apply equally for numerous foreign scholarships.
